Noelie will be teaching the participant how to actively decide, prepare, action and evaluate their tennis goals both performance and non-performance related. This workshop is strongly advised for all Development Squad players and any other tennis player that wishes to take part.

Naas LTC presents: Health / Nutrition Talk
Date: February 4th ( Monday)
Talk by Dominic Munnelly and will cover all aspects of Nutrition and the importance of stretching pre & post workout/playing. There will also be an on court demonstration of how to correctly warm up and the benefits that stretching can do for your performance.
There will also be a range of products that people can order on the night.
Fee €5 payable on the night.

Volunteer for role of Public Relations Officer on Junior Committee
- Sending out member Emails & Facebook updates with news/events
- Writing up articles for local newspapers
- Attending Junior Committee Meetings (once every 8 weeks approx)
- Coordinate on the general running & function of the Junior Committee in its aims to provide safe + awesome fun-times for Junior members in a somewhat tennis-related capacity!
Must be 18 or over.

Please find enclosed details of the first competition of the New Year. It’s a full on doubles competition (three tie break sets) where you select your own partner. If you have no partner, please still enter and we will find one for you.
You will play 3 to 4 matches in the robin part and the top 2 in each group progress to semi and final matches.
All grades catered for, so please get involved by entering this competition.
It is expected that all players playing DLTC winter league will enter with their partners.

We are running a one off social tennis night, called Christmas Cracker*, to celebrate the season’s festivities at the tennis club.
If you are not partying elsewhere why not come down and join our party and get some enjoyable exercise at the same time.
Details of night and how to enter now follow:
- Friday 14th December. Tennis starts at 7.30PM (please be on time).
- Entry Fee €10 (deducted from fob).
- Free draw for all entrants for a turkey or Ham (sponsored by John Doyle Meats).

*Christmas Cracker is Social Tennis by another name. It is a graded event, so there is a level of tennis to suit all. It usually consists of 3 matches, each having 9 games. The winner is the person winning the most games over the 3 rounds.
Christmas 2012 Opening Hours
December 24 – Club house closed at 4.00pm
December 25 – Club house closed all day
December 26 – Club house closed all day
December 31 – Club house closed at 4.00pm
January 1 – Club house closed all day
January 2 – Club house closed all day
Note: If playing a lot of tennis over the holiday period you may need to top up your fob. As the office and bar will be closed from Friday 21 of Dec this should be done sooner rather than later. Office will be opening again on Jan 3 2013.
