Court Allocation FAQs
WHO CAN BOOK A COURT?
Any up to date member(s) of Naas LTC with active club manager account(s) may book a court.
WHO DOESN’T CHECK IN FOR COURTS?
DLTC Matches, Opens, Club Organised Coaching, pre-allotted courts for play-at competition matches.
I BOOKED AND CHECKED IN FOR A COURT BUT THERE ARE PEOPLE ON IT?
Politely ask them to move stating you have the court booked, but please wait for your time-slot to start before doing so.
CAN JUNIORS ASK SENIORS TO MOVE?
Yes on some courts at certain times and vice/versa, and subject to court bookings.
HOW DO I FIND OUT WHAT COURTS ARE FREE AND WHEN?
Check the Naas LTC club manager web page here.
WHO IS A SENIOR?
Any member over 18 or over 14 and on a currently active senior league team or squad.
WHO IS A CLUB COACH?
A qualified tennis professional at Naas LTC.
CAN I CALL DOWN AT 2PM AND SIGN FOR 6PM?
You may book a court from home or work on the Naas LTC club manager page here.
WHEN CAN I CHECK IN FOR MY COURT?
You may check in your court in a 30 minute time period that starts 15 minutes before your booking time and ends 15 minutes after. This is done on the PC monitor in the foyer of the club.
IF I CHECK IN 15 MINUTES EARLY AND THERE ARE OTHER PEOPLE ON THE COURT MAY I MOVE THEM ON?
If they are booked in you must allow the other players to play up to the end of their allotted time, if they are not then please be polite about asking them to move. However if they are booked in and they vacate the court early you may then proceed to the court. You may also ask them to move at the end of their allotted time, though maybe allow them to finish the current game.
WHEN SHOULD I START TO BRUSH THE CLAY COURTS?
You should start to brush the clay courts between 5 and 10 minutes BEFORE the end of your allotted time.
WHAT IS PRIVATE COACHING?
Jane pays Paul (club coach) to coach Jane at her request. Jane must book the court, and mark the court as “coaching” which will give her the list of available coaches in the club.
WHO BOOKS AND CHECKS IN FOR PRIVATE COACHING?
The person being coached. On booking, the person must mark the court as “coaching” which will give them the list of available coaches in the club.
WHAT IS CLUB COACHING?
Naas LTC pay a coach to teach juniors or seniors – normally in group sessions.
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT’S WHAT?
All club coaching will appear on the clubs club manager page here.
WHAT IS A DUTY OFFICER?
A member who volunteers to coordinate courts in the evening, specifically during competitions. they can also top up your fob, and sell you tennis balls and related items.
CAN I FINISH MY LADDER MATCH IF THE COURT IS BOOKED IMMEDIATELY AFTER MY TIME?
No, you must vacate the court at the allotted time.
CAN I FINISH MY CLUB TOURNAMENT MATCH IF THE COURT IS BOOKED IMMEDIATELY AFTER MY TIME?
Please check the competition rules, if it is not explicitly stated you can you must vacate the court as normal.

Juniors named on the latest Summer & Winter Senior League Panels can play each other on courts 1 – 8 only, or with a Senior(s) on any court. | ||||

Free courts are available to Juniors aged 15 or older, but courts taken by Juniors not all of whom are on a Senior League Panel must be vacated immediately if requested to do so by a Senior. | ||||
